Costa Rica's capital of San JosÚ is served by eleven international airlines from virtually every US, South American and European gateway city.
Manuel Antonio and The Villas of Cielo Santo are situated 35 miles by air directly southwest of San JosÚ and are accessible within 20 minutes by scheduled commuter airline service or by car in two and one-half hours via the new "Costanera Sur," or Southern Coastal, highway. This scenic highway passes just inland of Quepos and is the future alternate route of the Pan-American Highway as it traces some 16,000 miles of coastline from Alaska to the southern tip of Chile. From San JosÚ the new highway covers 98 miles of varied mountain and jungle-laden coastal terrain before reaching Quepos. The sister community of Manuel Antonio, home to The Villas of Cielo Santo, offers the perfect balance between privacy and accessibility in the center of Costa Rica's most attractive coastline.
Air travel within Costa Rica is safe and dependable. Two domestic airlines provide several daily scheduled flights to Quepos from the San JosÚ International airport, or Tobias Bola˝os Airport, the nearby commuter airport in Escaz˙.
Charter taxis and vans with professional bilingual guides are also available at the airport in San JosÚ for the drive to Manuel Antonio. Rental cars are available through all major international agencies with products and terms comparable to those found in America, Europe and Asia.
The Pez Vela Marina in Quepos, presently in the pre-development process, will offer the benefits of full-service boating support facilities when completed, rendering the Quepos - Manuel Antonio areas accessible by sea, land and air.
